Want to know where you’re losing money? Ask Howard.
Howard Silvermintz
Howard Silvermintz, founder of Tier One Capital of Georgia, LLC, has a rare talent for ferreting out holes in his clients’ financial strategies.
He believes the safest road to financial certainty lies in maintaining as much liquidity as possible. Constantly thinking ten steps ahead, Howard can show you how to avoid losing money to unnecessary fees, interest, and taxes, by leveraging insurance to build wealth as well as protect it.
Howard entered the financial services industry over 30 years ago, working with John Hancock in St. Louis Missouri. Although he has called Atlanta home for decades, his “Show Me State” roots run deep. He’s a lifelong fanatic of the St. Louis Cardinals and a proud graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia. (Go Tigers!) And he loves the SEC.
Howard and his wife Sharon have been married since 1992. They love to travel, and Sharon is an avid golfer with a goal to play in all 50 states (and then some). One of their favorite trips was to Ireland and Scotland where they saw Jack Nicklaus’ final appearance at The Open. Renewing their wedding vows in Las Vegas, with Elvis Presley officiating, ranks right up there as well.
For a bit of adventure (and exercise), Howard enjoys serenity and the scenery of biking on the Silver Comet Trail. Riding is one of his favorite ways to clear his head and work through current issues and opportunities. Just don’t expect to see him sporting any spandex. Howard is also an active member of the High Museum, The Atlanta History Center, the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, and has attended his Synagogue “The Temple” for three decades. He’s also big fan of music. Ask him how many times he’s seen the Rolling Stones in how many cities or about catching Bob Seger’s final tour in Greenville, SC.
